launched a new initiative to increase the number of minority owned retailers statewide. Currently,
the Florida Lottery has more than 13,000 retail outlets consisting of both independent and multi-
location corporate retailers. From inception through fiscal year 2006-2007 more than $47.9 billion in Florida Lottery tickets have been sold. This activity has netted retailers across the state in excess of $2.68 billion in commissions and redemption bonuses.
Business owners who become Florida Lottery retailers will receive benefits such as commissions, cashing bonuses, bonus incentives for special promotions and support from the Lottery’s District Offices and Marketing department.

Lottery has contributed more than $18 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund,
benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million annual Bright
